Fusing is not about accurate cutting - that is the job of the stained glass artist. Fusing is the desire to take glass to another level in order to achieve something extraordinary. With the implementation of different colors, frits, stringers, noodles, paints, copper inclusions, nuggets, fusible papers, silver foil, mica powders, sand-blasting, layering.....how can one ever run out of ideas when fusing? What you see on my web-site is a representation of my work. It is impossible to show everything on these pages, but all of the pieces here are availble for purchase. They are removed when sold. As you view each piece and your imagination also runs wild, know that I do take commissions. It is a joy to work with a client to choose colors and work together on a design. Those that have had the fortune of visiting my studio and gallery at Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County Maryland (directions on my bio page), leave somewhat inspired, not just by my work, but by my relentless excitement of working in this medium. All of my glassware is food safe. Please hand-wash and treat as fine china. Do not use in a microwave or conventional oven. Click on an item for a larger image and dimensions. Designer BowlsFolded Vases These lovely vases stand on their own or can become artistic nightlights, house a floating candle, or gather a fresh bouquet of flowers. |
